Praise God for the funding and prayers from around the world, for Egypt in these difficult times, and enabling us to seize this opportunity and address current events with God's Word. We are in the process of flooding Egypt with God's Word… There is still much to do, and we need your continued prayers.

Pray for the Quick Development and distribution of creative and quality products that can be given away for free in massive amounts. Please pray for unusual creativity and effective approaches to spread God's Word in Egypt, especially in the area of Digital Media, and especially targeting youth.

Pray that the BSE would be on the cutting edge of communication methodology and techniques so that we can communicate effectively through all the channels that people in our constituency use to receive information.

Pray that the BSE programs and products would practically encourage and empower Egyptian Christians. Pray that we would all be able to relate to God more effectively through the use of His Word on a regular basis. Pray that the Church in Egypt, especially in these difficult days, would continually be transformed by the renewing of our minds and hearts.

Pray for Church leaders, to know how to minister and comfort and encourage oppressed Christian, while yet challenging believers to hold on to their faith, and live according to true Christian principles of love and forgiveness in the face of injustice and danger. Pray that the Church in Egypt be strengthened and encouraged to live out the teachings of Christ in this new Egypt!

Pray also for the Bible Society of Egypt, as we consider how we can be even more involved in bringing relief and support to the Christian communities who have suffered as a result of the recent inter-communal conflict and tension. Please pray that new channels of ministry would open, which previously were not available.

Pray that our products would provide a correct understanding of Christianity through access to the source texts of the Christian faith, which are found in the Bible.

Pray that the Holy Spirit would use each piece of literature, and each ad, and each clip, to draw people to Himself and to shed the Light of His Truth and His Presence.

Pray also that as we accomplish this task we also, as Bible Society staff, are impacted by God through His Word in a meaningful way.

Pray that our fund-raising and sales teams would be encouraged and strengthened for their task, with new vision and strength from above in these days of uncertainty.

Pray that local donors will continue to give generously.

Pray that we would be able to sell our products.

Pray for the ongoing presence and operation of the Bible Work in Egypt.  Along with many others in the country, the BSE is facing a real financial dilemma.  Pray for wisdom for us to know how to face this economic crisis.  Many small and large businesses are much worse off.  Please pray that we would weather these storms well, by the grace of God, that His mighty power would sustain this organization and the Bible Work in Egypt.
